More recently, golf courses were established in Sri Lanka’s north-central and eastern regions, solidifying the country’s claim as an all-year golfing hub.

Despite the rich history and excellent standards of Sri Lanka’s golfing, the vibe and atmosphere are comparatively laid-back, and expenses are relatively low. Sri Lanka’s golfing community is quite exclusive and there is rarely a need to book ahead.

There are several options for transportation within the country including expressways, roads to rail, helicopter, and small planes depending on the time you have in hand. Sri Lanka’s prominent golf courses are all situated in the island’s cultural hubs proving ample opportunity to experience and explore quintessential Sri Lanka.
